The culmination of this creative process is their explosive EP, Moments of Misery. This release is more than just a collection of songs; it’s a visceral experience that invites listeners to dive deep into the tumultuous themes of suffering and resilience while delivering an unrelenting sonic force that showcases the band’s commitment to their art.

Moments of Misery begins to unfold their creative bite, and unrefined nature manifests with "Decomposition of Violence" and "Dead End." With its pulsating percussive nature dancing around farinaceous guitar riffs and abrasively cynical vocals, Heavy//Hitter delivers an introductory experience that hits like a freight train in all the right ways. There is no sense of repose, no melodic breaks, just instrumental pandemonium that continues into the next few tracks.

"Waste of Life" and "No Mercy, No Remorse" continue this relentless onslaught of mayhem. Ferocious, yet not overpowered with power chords choking the experience, Heavy//Hitter delivers a technically varied and interesting fretboard frenetic experience that makes all the gravidness of their delivery so interesting to keep listening to.

"Heaven's Gate" offers an intricately crafted auditory experience that combines atmospheric depth with significant sonic heft. The track unfolds with layers of rich soundscapes, immersing the listener in a dense environment that mirrors its cinematic tension. Its percussion work is the bread and butter of this track, delivering a relentless barrage of rhythms evoking the chaos of a hurricane, effectively driving the piece forward and enhancing its dynamic progression.

The guitar work is equally noteworthy, featuring aggressive, diabolical riffs that cut through the mix with precision, adding a sense of urgency and intensity to the overall composition. These heavy guitar lines complement the dark undertones of the music, creating a formidable backdrop for the vocal performance. With unclean vocals delivered with a sinister edge, their guttural range enhances the menacing atmosphere and contributes to the emotional weight of the experience.

Together, Moments of Misery's instrumental and vocal elements create a complex sound tapestry that not only captivates but also transports the listener through a uniquely distinctive journey, culminating in a powerful and memorable conclusion. The meticulous interplay of percussion, guitar, and vocals showcases a raw and unrefined approach to heavy music, highlighting the massive artistry present within Heavy//Hitter's sound.
